Another Great Sew Day
Wow, it's been a while since my last post!
One reason is I am working on three projects at once. Why? Well, it's Lori Holt's fault, haha. Every time she posts a new project on her YouTube page I want to make it. I need to focus and finish one before starting another.
I wanted to share our shows and tells from our last Sew Bee It Club this past Thursday.
Pam finished quilting our group quilt that will hang in the shop, I just love how it has turned out. Everyone made a few blocks for the quilt.
Jacque took it home to put the binding on. She is going to add ric rack to the binding. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
Ruth returned to the group after herCovid absences, boy was she busy during Covid.
She shared several Embroidery projects and a few runners.
Jennifer brought her crazy paper quilt in for Show and Tell. She added snow ball blocks to the opposite corners. So creative!
Jennifer and Jacque shared their cute Sunshine wall hanging. Both are made with Lori Holt fabrics, Jennifer used Flea Market and Jacque used Prim.
Jacque made a mat for her new Featherweight and she also finished the binding on her ABC Quilt.
Charlene brought her finished Quilters Cottage Quilt in and announce she is donating it to a woman on Instagram who is going to auction it off to raise money for her friend fighting cancer. Check out her Instagram page, @goingpinkforkaren
This month we had two birthdays, Mary and Brenda. They both wanted either the tractor or truck block found in the Farm Girl Vintage 2 Book.
Aren't they the cutest?
This is such a fun group of ladies, we meet the second Thursday of each month and if you love everything Lori Holt you are more then welcome to join us.
Until next time, stay safe and sew on!
