Moved by fabric!

Has a piece of fabric ever stop you dead in your tracks?

I know that may sound funny to some of you but it has happened to me, more than once!

Recently I was l browsing the future lines coming out for Riley Blake and it happened again! I saw the line Conservatory by Jill Finley. It drew me in and I knew I had to have it.

Maybe it was the different shades of blue that caught my eye, but it spoke to me.

Especially this piece. I love the different shade of blue against the bright white.

It made me want to do a two-color quilt, so of course, I had to buy a solid blue to match.

I went with, Confetti Cotton Medium Blue. I know I have talked about Confetti Cottons before but let me just refresh you as to why I love them. They really have the softest touch and the slightest sheen to them. They really are my favorite solids to work with. Now I just have to find the perfect pattern to use these two together.

I also bought the main print for this line.

As you can see there are a lot of great color options that go with this line.

If you aren't crazy for the blue you can pull the pink out, the options are endless.

I hope that I have stopped you dead in your tracks as well and this fabric inspires you to create.
