On the Road Again
Well, after 9 months in quarantine the trailer is back in action!
To be honest, I was a bit nervous, 9 months is a long time, would I remember how to park a trailer, would I have enough merchandise, what about my trunk show?
I'm not sure where these insecurities came from but believe me they were there.
I asked my good friend Charlene to come with me, she had been with me so many times before but this time she was more of a security blanket.
There were some slight hiccups but overall it turned out to be a beautiful day.
The ladies at Sun Land Village East were so wonderful! Their sewing space was set up across a big room with lots of space between tables, they all wore masks and were just happy to be sewing with friends.
We limited the number of ladies to 5 in the trailer at a time and of course, we had our mask on. I thought it would be funny to make a giant mask to put on the front of the trailer but my hubby didn't this it was funny, mostly because he would have had to figure out how to make it.
I forgot to take pictures, but thank goodness Charlene was on the ball, she snapped some great photos of the ladies shopping.
Here we are, all set up in front of the Pickle Ball courts, good thing there weren't any games going on.
It was a great day, the ladies were so kind and happy to see the trailer, and most of all they had fun filling their shopping bags.
With the Covid numbers going up I am not sure how much the trailer will be getting out and about this winter season but if they do call, I'll be ready!
I just want to add that it's okay to admit that you have fears, anxiety, doubts, as long as you face them head-on you are winning!
Stay healthy and sew on!
