Years ago I was scrolling through Pinterest and came across a quilt that caught my eye. It wasn’t what I normally gravitated to but there was just something about it I loved, maybe it was the colors or the simplicity of the design. The quilt had appeared in a magazine from 2013, so I knew I could no longer find a copy. I contacted the designer of the quilt, Cory Yoder and was able to purchase the pattern. I did pick up a few solids here and there with this quilt in mind but as we so often do I used them in another project, so this pattern was put a side for future use or as I call my bucket list.
Here is the original post I pinned back in 2015. The quilt is called Make it Modern.
As you have seen in my previous post I have a new obsession for Confetti Cotton solids by Riley Blake. When I started purchasing these solids for the Quilt Cart this quilt came to mind.
So today I am going to pull fabrics for this quilt and I am finally going to make it. Check back to see my progress and what colors I have chosen.
It will also be a kit it for the Quilt Cart.
