Three Years Ago, Today
Three years ago on this date I launched my Quilt Cart. I had no idea if it was even going to work but I had a vision and with the help of my family and friends we made it happen. I have learned so much in the last three years, I have surprised myself with the things I have pulled off. I really could not have and still not be able to do this without the love and support of my husband. He is my co-pilot, my fix it guy, my load and unloader. He never complains, I secretly think he enjoys the ladies and the men who are fascinated by the trailer.
My family has made great sacrifices so I can do what I love and I am so blessed to have them by my side. I still get honks and thumbs ups when people drive by, well I think most them are the thumbs but either way, that fuels my desire to keep on going. My customers are fun and excited to see the quilt cart, they are supportive and I even have my own groupies. It’s hard work, physical work, and sometimes it takes me a day to recoup after a show but it is all so worth it. I don’t know what the future holds but I hope I get to keep doing what I have grown to love, pulling my quilt cart and hanging around wonderful quilters! Thanks you all for supporting my dream.
