Time To Get Out And Sew With Friends Again
This week I posted a picture from our Sew Bee It Club and had many questions regarding our little club.
This is a group of ladies who love Lori Holt and all her wonderful creations.
We meet the second Thursday of the month at Sweet PZ Designs in Gilbert Arizona.
We have just a few requirements for our group, work on a Lori Holt project or sew with any of Lori's fabric, and most importantly, have fun!
Our club works mostly on individual projects but occasionally, we do a group project. Right now we are working on a group quilt to hang in the shop.
Isn't it cute? It's not finished yet, one of the ladies brought it home to add the border, and then Pam will quilt it for us.
We have demos, door prizes, shop discounts, and lots of show and tell. We usually start at 9:30 and sew until 2:30 but there are no time clocks, so you come and go at your convenience. There is a $10 club fee each month.
What I love most about this group is how generous the ladies are. They share ideas, techniques, and fabric. I am always learning something new!
Last year we had our first and hopefully more to come 3-day retreats. We played games, had door prizes, goodie bags, lots of yummy food, and a make and take.
Our make and take was Lori's Quilty Zip Bag. We surprised the ladies and had Lori sign the center square.
If you live in the area we would love to meet you and join our great club.
If you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at Fran@sewbella.net
Thanks for inquiring, hope to meet new friends, stay safe and sew on!
