Upcoming Events

It’s that time a year again, time to blow the summer dust off Bella and stock her with all the new and wonderful merchandise that has been rolling in.

The Quilt Cart is active all year but slows in the summer, can’t imagine why people don’t want to come out when it’s 100 degrees out.  I travel up north during the hot days  in the valley but from October thru April the Quilt Cart is quite active.

She’s coming home this weekend to get spruced up for the winter season.  A new coat of paint on the inside and a few tweaks here and there and she is ready to roll!

Yes, her name is Bella and I still get excited each time I see my husband come down the street with her after she been in storage.

I am excited to announce the first show of the season this year is in Lake Havasu. Can you believe I have lived in Arizona for 23 years and have never been to Lake Havasu? Lake Havasu is a popular destination because of the famous London Bridge and the many water sports along the Colorado River. It borders California and is the second most visited attraction in Arizona following the Grand Canyon.

The next event will be November 16th for the AQG Fall Meeting. This years theme is Bee Thankful and will be held at the Elk Lodge at 14424 N. 32nd. Street in Phoenix 85032. Tickets are available on the AQG website. I will be there for 9:30 till 12:30. This years' guest speaker is Kelly Cline.

If you are not a member of the Arizona Quilt Guild I strongly advise looking into it. It’s a wonderful way to meet other quilters in your area, make like minded friends, take wonderful classes from well know pattern and fabric designers, do wonderful rewarding charity work and belong to organization that forcuses on  everything Quilting. What else could be more fulfilling.

Follow the link below for more information.

If you are interested in having the Quilt Cart at your quilt group or quilt show simply contact me at 602-549-7758.

I have been busy making kit samples and can’t wait for you all to see them. Until then, Happy Quilting.
